Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ClubFlow.io (“ClubFlow,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

ClubFlow provides software for planning and running golf tournaments — course and field setup, real-time scoring, public leaderboards, and Calcutta auctions with live and silent bidding modes.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create a ClubFlow account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate information when registering teams, players, or bidders

You may sign in with email/password, Google, or Facebook. The provider you choose is responsible for authenticating you to us; their terms and privacy policies also apply.

3. Calcutta Auctions

ClubFlow tracks bids, ownership, buybacks, and projected payouts for Calcutta-style auctions. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • ClubFlow does not process or hold money of any kind. All settlement (cash, Venmo, check, or otherwise) happens directly between participants outside the platform.
  • ClubFlow is not a gambling platform, a licensed operator, or a money transmitter. The tournament director is responsible for ensuring the Calcutta complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Tournament directors are responsible for resolving disputes about bids, ownership, and payouts.
  • You are responsible for your own tax reporting of any winnings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate anyone else’s rights
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network
  • Interfere with any other user’s access to or use of the service, including by placing fraudulent bids
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute tournament data you do not own
  • Send unsolicited SMS or email through the service, or submit a phone number you do not own
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the service

5. Your Content

Tournament data you enter remains yours. You grant ClubFlow a license to host, display, and process that data solely as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

6. SMS Verification and Messaging

By providing a phone number to participate in a Calcutta auction you consent to receive a one-time verification code by SMS, sent via Google Firebase Authentication. Message and data rates may apply. ClubFlow does not send marketing or recurring SMS. Team invitations from captains are delivered by email. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Pricing and Plans

Current pricing is shown on our website. We may change pricing on 30 days’ notice. If you are on a paid plan and do not accept the new pricing, you may cancel without penalty before it takes effect.

8. Availability

We work hard to keep the service available, especially during live tournaments, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClubFlow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ClubFlow harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms, including claims related to Calcutta settlements or regulatory compliance.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of the owner of ClubFlow, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of that state, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the product and by email to tournament directors. Continued use of the service after the effective date of a revised version constitutes your acceptance.
